FAQ

Q: What should I do to prepare my horse for a session?

  • Ensure your horse is safely tied up or held for the entire treatment
  • Please ensure your horse has not been ridden or worked prior
  • Horses must be dry and free of sweat for the treatment
  • Provide a clean, safe space for treatment - shade & cover from the elements
  • Bring the OTTWA Passport if applicable
  • Let me know of any injuries, history, or current concerns

Q: Can you come to regional areas?
Yes — regional rates apply. Travel arrangements and costs are confirmed at booking.

Q: How do I book a session?
You can book directly through Facebook or contact me via phone/email. If you’re unsure what your horse needs, flick me a message and I will tailor the care on the day.

Q: What if my horse has injuries or medical conditions?
Always let me know prior to the session. Treatment will be adapted accordingly, and care is assessment-led, gentle, and horse-first.

Q: How often should my horse receive treatment?
Treatment frequency depends on your horse’s workload, age, condition, and goals. Many horses benefit from regular maintenance, while others may require more intensive support during periods of training, competition, or recovery. A personalised plan is discussed after assessment.

Q: What if I need to cancel?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur 100% of the session cost.
